In short
What is a special date note?
A special date note, often called a date of birth note, is a genuine Indian banknote whose six-digit serial number matches a date that matters. For 12 August 1995, that is the serial 120895 (day, month, year). We find the real Reserve Bank of India note carrying that number and send it in a protective sleeve as a personal gift for birthdays, wedding anniversaries, a baby’s arrival, engagements, the day a couple met, graduations, a first job, retirements, a new home or business, festival gifting such as Diwali and Dhanteras, or a date to remember someone by.
- Any date that matters: birthdays, anniversaries, a baby’s birth, engagements, graduations, retirements, a new home, or in loving memory, and a thoughtful Diwali or Dhanteras gift
- Genuine Indian banknotes in ₹1, ₹2, ₹5, ₹10, ₹20, ₹50, ₹100, ₹200 and ₹500, never glued or written on
- One note or a set of 2, 3, 5 or 9 notes, in any value from ₹1 to ₹500, the same value more than once if you like
- Ready in days: notes from our vault arrive in 5 to 9 working days; rare serials are sourced and arrive in 10 to 19 working days
- No online payment: see the exact price here, enquire on WhatsApp, pay by UPI only once you confirm
- Delivered across India by tracked courier

Questions
Before you enquire
- What is a date of birth currency note?
- It is a genuine Indian banknote whose six-digit serial number spells a date. 12 August 1995 matches the serial 120895, so a note numbered 120895 becomes a one-of-a-kind gift for whoever that date belongs to. It works for any special date, not only a date of birth.
- Which occasions is it for?
- Any date that matters: birthdays, wedding anniversaries, a baby’s arrival, engagements, the day a couple met, graduations, a first job, retirements, a new home or business, festival gifting such as Diwali and Dhanteras, or a date to remember someone by. Enter the date and the search works the same way for every one.
- Can I get one for a wedding anniversary?
- Yes. Enter the wedding date. Many couples order a set: the wedding date and both birthdays together, or the day they met and the day they married.
- Is it a good Diwali gift?
- Yes. Gifting money is a Diwali and Dhanteras custom, and a note whose serial is the person’s birthday or wedding date turns that shagun into a keepsake they keep. It is popular for parents, in-laws and newly-weds, and as a corporate Diwali gift for teams and clients, one note per person or a set. Enquire at least three weeks before the festival, since sourced notes take longer.
- Is it a good gift for a newborn, a graduation or a retirement?
- Yes. A note carrying a baby’s date of birth is a keepsake that grows in meaning, and a graduation, first-job or retirement date makes a gift for the milestone itself.
- Are the banknotes genuine?
- Yes. Every note is a genuine Reserve Bank of India banknote, checked before it ships. It sits in an acid-free sleeve and is never glued, stapled, pinned or written on.
- Is the note still valid money?
- Yes. The note remains Indian legal tender. The price covers the note itself, finding the matching serial and its presentation, and we show it clearly before you enquire.
- How much does it cost?
- Each note has its own price by value, from ₹249 for a ₹1 note. Sets of 2, 3, 5 or 9 notes get a discount on the notes, and the website shows the full price, part by part, before you enquire.
- What if no note matches the date?
- We source it through our collector network; it usually arrives in 10 to 19 working days. We confirm the exact serial with you on WhatsApp before you pay anything.
- How do I pay?
- Nothing is paid on this website. Send your enquiry on WhatsApp; we confirm the exact note, and if you go ahead we send a UPI request. We never ask for card details.
- How long does delivery take?
- Notes from our vault arrive in 5 to 9 working days, packed and delivered. Sourced notes arrive in 10 to 19 working days. The website warns you when the date is too close for a sourced note.
- Which date format is used?
- DDMMYY, the Indian convention, by default: 12 August 1995 becomes 120895. You can also choose MMDDYY or YYMMDD if it gives a more interesting serial.
- Can I choose the denomination?
- Yes. Choose ₹1, ₹2, ₹5, ₹10, ₹20, ₹50, ₹100, ₹200 or ₹500 notes, and the same value more than once if you like. Availability depends on the serial; we confirm the exact notes on WhatsApp before you pay. ₹1 notes are issued by the Government of India, the others by the Reserve Bank of India.
- Where do you deliver?
- Across India by tracked courier. You can share your address in the enquiry or later on WhatsApp.
